Lee Jungjae joins the new Star Wars series…The cast is ‘secret’
Disney Plus (+) has officially announced actor Lee Jungjae on the casting list for the original series “Acolite,” which contains a new story of the “Star Wars” worldview.
Disney+ announced Lee Jung-jae, Amandla Stenberg of the movie “The Hate You Left,” Manny Jacinto of “Pect Strangers,” and Daphne Keane of BBC and HBO’s series “Heath Dark Matterial” on the 8th. However, he did not elaborate on what role Lee Jung-jae will play in Accollite.
Accolite is the story of Star Wars: Episode I – The Invisible Danger 100 years ago. It tells the story of the dark secrets of the galaxy and the newly emerging dark side against the backdrop of the late Republic period.
Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, participated as the executive producer. Director Leslie Headland directed the film. Lee Jung-jae won the best actor award for the first time in Korean actor history for Netflix’s Korean series “Squid Game” at the U.S. Emmy Awards in September.
