Lim Changmin returns to Heroes after 10 years…
Kiwoom Heroes reinforced the squad.
Kiwoom announced on the 28th that it has recruited pitchers Lim Chang-min (37), Hong Sung-min (33),
Byun Si-won (29), and infielder Jung Hyun-min (23). He played a good and bad game in the released player market as a way to strengthen his off-season power.
Lim Chang-min and Hong Sung-min signed an annual salary of 100 million won, Byun Si-won 40 million won, and Jung Hyun-min 30 million won, respectively.
The most eye-catching one is Lim Changmin. Lim Chang-min, who joined Hyundai Unicorns in 2008, has a history of playing for Nexen Heroes before Kiwoom.
He wore the NC Dinos uniform for trade in 2012. He was released from NC last winter and played for the Doosan Bears this season.
The KBO League’s overall performance is 25 wins, 27 losses, 56 holds, 96 saves, and an ERA of 3.86. With this contract, he will be able to seek a comeback in his “home team.”
Hong played for the Lotte Giants and NC after being named to the KIA Tigers in 2012. He pitched in 305 KBO league games, recording 15 wins,
14 losses, 41 holds, and five saves with a 3.77 ERA. Byun Si-won, who joined Doosan with 13 in the second round of the second round in
2012 after graduating from Chungam High School, moved to KIA in 2020 and played until 2021. His career record in the KBO League (7 years) is 8 wins, 1 loss, 11 holds, 1 save, and 4.66 ERA.
Jung Hyun-min was decided to rejoin Kiwoom as an infielder in the 9th round of the 2nd rookie draft (total number 84).
