Tottenham seeks to recruit 1.2 million ‘retired YouTubers’ in ‘Yoris 8 weeks out’
Tottenham is on the alert. When all the strikers returned, there was a huge crack in the back this time.
Hugo Lloris (36), the goalkeeper of “No. 1”, will empty the goal for at least six weeks and the most eight weeks due to a knee injury. He felt abnormal symptoms in his knee in a 1-0 victory over Manchester City on the 5th, and a close examination showed that his knee ligament was damaged.
Goalkeepers, who are in special positions, do not change their main positions. Tottenham recruited Fraser Foster as a backup to Lloris last summer, but he played only one game in the English Premier League (EPL). There are also “young blood” Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman, but they have no experience in the first division.
It is unclear whether it will become a reality, but Tottenham is seeking a short-term contract with Ben Foster from Manchester United. Britain’s Mirror reported on the 9th that “Tottenham can recruit Ben Foster as an emergency goalkeeper card.”
Ben Foster, 40, retired after playing for Watford last season. Newcastle United offered a one-year contract, but rejected it and is currently working as a “YouTuber.” It has a whopping 1.24 million subscribers.
Recognized for his potential with Manchester United in the 2009–2010 season, he played eight A matches for England. After leaving Manchester United, he played for Watford following Birmingham City and West Bromwich. Physical condition is the key, but as much as the rich experience is attractive.
Tottenham must play not only EPL but also the first and second matches of the European Champions League round of 16 against AC Milan and the round of 16 in the FA Cup. It is not easy to digest a long journey alone.
However, even if the contract is successful, there are variables. Tottenham need special Premier League permission to add Ben Foster to the 25-man squad.
